Gift for £60 of messuage and land in his manor of Clopton, Warwickshire together with certain nativi. Rent: 1 pence per annum for most customary services. Witnesses: William de Bishopesdon, Richard de Wroxhul, John de Curli, John de Wilmecote, Richard de Peito, Robert de Lecton, John de Clifford, William de Le, John de Hawile. According to Dugdale this is a deed of temp. Henry III. The donor is probably the Peter de Montfort (II) who died in 1287.
